Game of Thrones Season 6 Update

Game of Thrones casting two more Northern noblemen for season 6!

There’s only a month left to Game of Thrones season 6 filming, but casting notices are still rolling in. Thanks to our sources, we have two role descriptions to share with you today. The newest ones to find their way to us offer more hints at the season 6 Northern plot. One of them is reminiscent of a book character who made a big impression in A Dance with Dragons, while the other is more mysterious.

The casting notice descriptions are tucked entirely below a cut for spoilers!

There are character names attached to the roles, but we have reason to believe that the names are fake.

First up, we have:

“Boyce”: He’s a callow young nobleman in his 20’s who has been thrust into a position of power before he is ready. They’re looking for an actor using a Northern accent, and one who is physically fit, can play somewhat hot-headed and can look rugged.

Our source says the character has a couple speeches in a scene with leading cast. He’s only expected to shoot for one day- December 16th- in Northern Ireland.

Our speculation: The need for a Northern accent, and the fact that this character is filming the same day as the character below points toward him being a Northern lord, one who has just come into his title. Which one? We’re thinking this might be the new Lord Cerwyn. The Cerwyns are a Northern family. Last season, Ramsay flayed the current lord for not paying his taxes. That would give the new young lord a reason to raise havoc with the Boltons in season 6.

The second character will surely cause a great deal of speculation among fans.

“Fletcher”:  He is a fat nobleman in his 60’s. He has distinctive rugged features, a Northern accent, and a distinguished air. Our source says he has a stirring speech during which he unexpectedly shifts political allegiances.

The actor is only expected to shoot for one day- the same day as the above role, on December 16th, in Northern Ireland.

Our speculation: A fat nobleman shifting alliances? If this isn’t Wyman Manderly, the Game of Thrones fandom is being trolled hard with this character. With only one day of filming, clearly the show isn’t doing the whole White Harbor plot, but I think we guessed that anyway. Perhaps this is a meeting of Northern Lords, and this is a more streamlined version of the Wyman character who made such an impression with his speech in A Dance with Dragons.

What do you think, readers?

'The Winds of Winter' Update: Has 'Game of Thrones' Author George R.R Martin Finished Writing the Book?

There is a rumor that the "Game of Thrones" author George R R Martin has finished writing the much-awaited book "The Winds of Winter."

The director of the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 6, Jack Bender, said in his recent interview with Reddit that he was able to get his hands on an advance copy of "The Winds of Winter". This statement raised many flags in the fandom community, making fans all the more excited that the book is finally ready for release, according to The Independent

However, it is also being said that, Bender may have confused the advance copy of the "Game of Thrones" 6th season with the advance copy of the 6th book.
Fans of the popular drama series "Game of Thrones" are yet to come to terms with the death of their favorite hero Jon Snow (Kit Harrington). More than a month after the Season finale was released, everyone is keeping a keen eye for the release of the next book, "Winds of Winter," as it hold crucial information about the actual fate of Jon Snow.

Martin will not get involved in penning down any of the episodes of the upcoming sixth season of "Game of Thrones," according to The Franchise Herald
He wrote some of the episodes for Season one to four, but stopped doing that from Season five onwards. The author wrote a blog post earlier saying that he is clearing out many interviews and other writing gigs in order to finish this book on a priority basis.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Storylines Update

Showrunners DB Weiss and David Benioff recently hinted that characters and
storylines from author George RR Martin's books previously ignored on the show,
may make reappearances in future seasons.
"Sometimes we're going in a different order or telling a different story,
" Benioff told Entertainment Weekly. "We think the story will all make sense at the end.
Otherwise it will be eight wasted years."

So does that mean we could still see Lady Stoneheart in upcoming episodes?
That would be pretty cool but one wonders what she'll do if they bring her in so late
into the show...with the way things are shaping up, there won't be anyone left to take
revenge on.

Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere date

Game of Thrones season 6 is expected to premiere in April 2016 and
production for the new episodes is rumoured to commence as soon as next month.
Also, the show's VFX supervisor Joe Bauer recently teased that the next season
will feature some really massive dragons, in action. As if they didn't look big and
deadly enough in season 5, expect them to have doubled in size for season 6.

Looks like the makers are all set to give the big bad Dinos of Jurassic World a run for their money.
"When the dragons were small we had little foam rubber models of each dragon and
we could carry them on and off of the set and it was no big deal," Bauer told Yahoo TV."
Last year the best we could do was a head and this year it's going to be a finger nail or something, I'm not really sure."

Game Of Thrones Update: Star Emilia Clarke Does Perfect Valley Girl Accent And Other Show Spoilers

HBO's Game of Thrones (GoT) Season 5 might have already ended weeks ago, but the GoT fever is still on. The series' latest updates includes casting and director news, as well as possible story plots and spoilers. Meanwhile, actress Emilia Clark who plays Daenerys Targaryen, recently revealed the "valley girl" persona she adopts when out and about in the U.S.

On Tuesday, UK's The Week compiled a list of items to expect from Game of Thrones season 6.  The list includes new characters, based on casting calls, that may be joining the series.  This includes Red priestess Kinvara and a pirate-like character described as "cunning, ruthless, with a touch of madness".   Vanity Fair's Joanna Robinson says the pirate is "definitely everyone's favorite eye-patch-wearing uncle, Euron Greyjoy, aka Crow's Eye" from the books.
Game of Thrones Season 6 will also have five directors, each handling two episodes, reports Time.  Three are GoT veterans namely Jeremy Podeswa, Mark Mylod and Miguel Sapochnik.  The two newcomers are Daniel Sackheim who previously worked on Miami Vice, The X-Files and House; and Jack Bender, best known for directing 38 episodes of Lost.
There are a lot of speculation surrounding Season 6's storyline, but none could be more popular than the character Jon Snow's resurrection.   Jon's death in Game of Thrones Season 5 is one of the most devastating scenes for the series.   Fans are thinking Melissandre's appearance at the Wall could signify a potential resurrection for the character.  British actress Emilia Clarke who plays Daenerys Targaryen, also thinks that there's a "50/50 chance." Clarke told MTV she had "no idea what's happening", but added: "If I had to bet, I'd say there's like a 50/50 chance. There's some very helpful people there who could bring him on back to life."
And while Emilia Clarke is not playing her Daenerys Targaryen character and flying on dragons, the British star is also playing a "valley girl" when she goes out and is trying to avoid fans.  Clarke revealed her "valley girl accent" during Monday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, reports Us Weekly.  The star has even given her Californian alter-ego a name - "Callie from the Valley."
Clarke's valley girl accent was impressive when she did a sample of it during the show.  When asked where her inspiration for her "Callie from the Valley" voice came from, Clarke replied, "I, like, love Clueless!"

Justin Bieber Yells ‘I Miss You, Selena’ in ‘Where Are U Now’ Video — Pic

There are SO many Selena Gomez references in Justin Bieber’s new video for ‘Where Are U Now,’ but this one might be the most telling of all! In one scene, a drawn photo of the Biebs seems to hint that he really misses his ex. Was using this pic meant to send an intentional message?!

Awwww….is Justin Bieber, 21, missing Selena Gomez, 22? In his new video for “Where Are U Now,” the singer included a drawing of himself with a word bubble that reads, “I Miss You, Selena!!” The drawings in the video were confirmed to all be fan art, but it’s pretty telling that he chose to include this one, isn’t it!?
The art shows Justin drawn onto a dark background, but the thought bubble is clearly visible. The Biebs’ rep told Media that all the video’s art was done by fans, and Justin had nothing to do with it, but he could have easily decided not to include those with messages about Selena, and he definitely didn’t — because this isn’t even the only reference to the “Good For You” singer!
It’s all pretty confusing, though, because while this pic has Justin missing his ex, another graffiti message gives the opposite view. When the video leaked on June 27, we immediately noticed the words “Jelena 5Ever!” written on a wall and blatantly crossed out with an X, leading fans to believe that Justin is insisting the relationship is OVER for good.
Still, yet another shot shows Justin in front of a white wall with the writing, “Where r now, Selena,’ to his left, once again leading us to believe he wants to reconcile. “Justin wrote this record during a tough time in his life and it comes to us sometimes, as artists, we are also just objects, and we have to take that as much as we have to use that to create,” Justin’s co-collaborators on the song, Skrillex and Diplo, said. “We all do this for you, respect that you put us here and it’s U that made the video.”
Well, I guess you’ll just have to interpret these not-so-subtle messages as best as you can, Do you think Justin intentionally decided to use these pieces of fan art? OR do you believe it was totally random? Let us know in the comments section below!
